Abstract (EN)

This study investigates the experiences of female international university students in Türkiye, focusing on their academic and social challenges and successes. Based on qualitative method, the research captures the voices of these students, exploring their motivations for studying in Türkiye, the support systems available, and the educational and social barriers they face. Key themes include academic integration, social networks, gendered experiences, and future orientations, highlighting how these factors influence the students' overall experiences. The findings reveal that while many students encounter challenges such as language barriers and cultural differences, they also benefit from rich cultural exchange and community support, which contribute to their academic achievements and personal identity development. The study emphasizes the importance of understanding the experiences of these women, as their perspectives can inform policies and practices within universities in Türkiye to enhance the support for international students. Ultimately, this research contributes to the broader discourse on globalization and education, shedding light on the intersection of gender, identity, academic life, and future aspirations in a foreign context. The insights gained may help in promoting a more inclusive and supportive environment for female international university students in Türkiye, fostering their academic success and personal growth.
