Abstract (EN)
This research was conducted to evaluate the relationship between various factors, including demographic characteristics, time of hospital admission, vital signs, and presenting complaints with the survival outcomes of patients diagnosed with acute ischemic stroke. The study employed different stroke scales to assess patients' symptoms, stroke severity, and survival outcomes. These scales included FAST, Cincinnati, Los Angeles Pre-Hospital Stroke Screen (LAPSS), NIHSS, Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS), and Modified Rankin Scale (MRS). Results revealed statistically significant differences in survival outcomes based on the NIHSS Score and GCS Score, with significant associations found between these scores and the survival status of patients. However, no statistically significant relationship was observed between the MRS Score and survival outcomes. Additionally, patients without symptoms, according to the FAST Scale and Cincinnati Stroke Scale, had shorter hospital stays compared to those with symptoms. According to the Los Angeles Pre-Hospital Stroke Screen, patients meeting the criteria had longer hospital stays than those who did not meet the criteria. In conclusion, this study underscores the importance of using different stroke scales to better understand the relationships between a patient's stroke symptoms, stroke severity, and their survival outcomes. These findings may provide valuable clinical insights for the improved management and treatment of patients with acute ischemic stroke.
