Determination of stored product pests under farmers condition in Adana

Halil ELEKÇİO?LU The study was carried out in Küçük Çıldırın, Gökçeler, Yolgeçen; Akkuyu, Çınarlı villages, which belong to Adana, from October 1996 to August 1997. Thirteen species belonging to 1 1 families, 3 orders, 2 classes were determined. In this study Sitophilus oryzae (L.), Rhizopertha dominica (F.), Tribolium castaneum (Herb.), Trogium pulsatorium (L.), Plodia interpunctella (Hübner) and Sitotraga cerealella (Olivier) were faund the important species and Oryzaephilus surinamensis (L.), Cryptolestes ferrugineus (Steph.) were determined to be potantial species in this village. S. oryzae, T. pulsatorium on grain, S. oryzae, R. dominica, S. cerealella on barley, T. castaneum on boulgur and on flour, acari species on animals fodder were quite important species.
