The immigration and defection process is a very difficult and traumatic one for all individuals. However, the women refugees as a result of being women, are exposed to various types of oppression, discrimination and violence, both as a result of their gender and their role as a society. The female body was often used as an ethnic cleansing and revenge tool in war and conflict situations. The female refugees are open and vulnerable to the acts of violence, sexual harassment and various discriminatory practices even after the asylum process is over when they are placed as refugees in another country. On the issue of female refugees and asylum seekers, firstly by examining general definitions, gender discrimination, sex based violence patterns and in particular, through the Status Determination Report Example in Adana-Seyhan, the problems encountered by Syrian women who are located in the said area and their temporary protection status in accordance with the laws of our country, women refugees and asylum seekers will be handled generally in conjunction and solution proposal will be presented.
