The revision of soil survey of research and application Farm Lands of Agriculture of Faculty of Adnan Menderes University

In this thesis, it was aimed to update the survey and map work that was done in experimental fields of Research and Application Farm, Department of Agricultural Faculty in Adnan Menderes University in 1999 with respect to new technologies and informations. In the work area (approximately 2400 da) it was detected six different physiographical units, 26 pedon was hollowed out over the units and 15 of them was identified as a series. Soil samples were taken from the each series with respect to horizon principle, chemical and physical analysis were conducted in the laboratory. According to the results of analysis and morphological observations, soil samples were classified as Entisol and Inceptisol in Soil Taxonomy 2014 and classified as Fluvisol, Regosol, Calcisol in FAO/UNESCO 2006. 1/5000 scale soil map was obtained at the end of the work. The changes in the work area were identified over the time, solutions have been developed about the issues.
