Abstract (EN)

Evaluation of Spinopelvic Parameters in Individuals with Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis Aim: The aim of this study is to evaluate spinopelvic parameters in adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS). Material- Methods: 207 individuals diagnosed with idiopathic scoliosis in adolescence were included in our study. The age, gender, and Lenke classification of the patients were determined. Angle values of spinopelvic parameters were measured using the Cobb method. Results: The average age of the patients is 14 ± 2 years, the average THA is 37.47°± 15.778°, and the average LLA is 49.74° ± 13.089°. The highest number of patients is in Lenke type 5 with 67 people. A positive correlation was observed between cervical Cobb angle and thoracic Cobb angle, and between thoracic Cobb angle and lumbar Cobb angle (p<0.05). There is a positive correlation between cervical Cobb angle and PT, and thoracic Cobb angle and SS (p<0.005). There is a negative correlation between THA and cervical Cobb angle (p<0.05). There is a positive correlation between PI, SS and PT (p<0.05). A negative correlation was found between SS and PT (r =- 0.304). There is a positive correlation between PI and LLA and between LLA and SS (p<0.05). There is no significant difference between Lenke types in terms of PT, PI, TKA, LLA. There is a significant difference between Lenke types in terms of age (p = 0.043), Cobb angles in the coronal plane (p = 0.000) and SS (p = 0.029). Conclusion: It has been found that the parameters in the coronal and sagittal planes are related to each other in individuals diagnosed with AIS.
