Abstract (EN)
The lamps has been one of the most have need, of mankid for centuries. That is why they reflected the best of the culture used. The subject of this work is a group of terra cotta lamps on the Afyon Archaelogical Museum. Within the spoce of the study. Forty two lamps forms are separated according to the specifications tothre different groups. The typological and chronological of the lamps were done. The carliest example of the artifacts studied ist the before jesus at the end of the first century. The latest example is the VIII. the century after jesus. The range of lamps spread over awide range of time reflects the cultural richness of the region. The majorily of the lamps are thought to have been produced in the local workshops and some of wihch may have been imported from differend regions. The lamps which are removed to the museum through confiscation and purchase are now in the museum deposit. Keywords: Afyon, Lamps, Terracotta
