Abstract (EN)
In our research, which addresses the issue of violence against women within the family between the socialization process and male authority, we see that this phenomenon has historical, cultural and social dimensions. This phenomenon is not limited to time and space, but is connected to the existence of humans and the mutual relations between women and men within the family. This research consists of four sections: In the first section, I examined violence against women in the historical process, the stages of violence, the most important forms of violence they are exposed to in the environment they live in, and I investigated and indicated the most important causes of violence against women, and the most important effects of violence against women on the individual level and society. In the second section, I indicated the concept of family and male authority; through this concept, I indicated the stages that authority has gone through throughout history, and the most common theories regarding the formation of violence between individuals. How the role of violence is formed between the subject and the object, the characteristic qualities of the person who commits violence, and the characteristics that characterize the person who is subjected to violence are also the subjects of this section. In the third section, I also mentioned the purpose of the research, the methods and tools used in the research, and the research hypotheses regarding the field research. The fourth section includes the field research and the factual and judgmental data regarding the participants in the survey. I applied this research to a sample of twenty immigrant women who were abused in Isparta province of Turkey and used a case study approach using qualitative research. I used interview and observation tools as methods. Then I analyzed these cases and obtained results that were suitable for the purpose of the research.
