Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this study is to analyze the sustainability of micro and small-scale family businesses operating in Eskişehir Province. In this context, it was attempted to reach family businesses operating in Eskişehir Province, accepted as micro or smallscale when official definitions are taken as reference, passed down to at least the second generation or where the second generation is actively working in the business together with the first generation, and have existed or are trying to exist in commercial life for at least 50 years. In this thesis study , which is a qualitative reserach, the interview method was used and the voice recordings of the interviewees were taken. An attempt was made to make a situation analysis about these businesses in question by analyzing the voice recordings. As a result of the findings of the study, discussions were made on the reason why these businesses, where institutionalization is very weak, have successfully existed in commercial life for so many years.
