Abstract (EN)

The Introduction of the thesis entitled "Transcription, Translation and Gramatical Index of the Ak-Moor Epic" provides general information about the Kyrgyz people and their epics and also introduces the Ak-Moor Epic itself in the context of the time period in which the events were experienced and then reproduced and recorded in literary language. In the Text section, the epic's Cyrillic text is transcribed to Latin letters. The Latin alphabet Kyrgyz is then lined up next to the translated Turkish text according to the line numbers. The Glossary section features list of all the words used in the text, arranged to their roots. In the preparation of this list words created with the use of suffixes are listed separately. The method practiced by Besim Atalay in his work, "Divanü Lügat-it Türk" is used as a foundation for establishing the meanings of words. The Conclusion of the thesis presents statistics about the most frequently used nouns, verbs, pronouns and prepositions. Finally, the thesis includes a bibliography of all the various type of works used during the rearch, transcription and translation process.
