Prof. Dr. Cem ÇEVİK In this study, Cephalopoda (Malacostraca) species, distrubuted of Akkuyu Coast, and their bio-ecological charasteristics were defined. Except summer months, samples in Oct 2001-2002 were taken from the depths of 0-50, 50-100 and >100 m with Mediterranean type deep trowl. The results indicated that 7 species were found belonging to member of Sepiidae family {Sepia officinalis, Sepia elegans), Loliginidae family (Loligo vulgaris), Octopodidae family (Eledone moschata, Octopus vulgaris, Octopus defilippi, Octopus aegina). Mean value of mantle lengths of the captured species were found to be 110,716 ± 3,07 for S officinalis, 38,03 ± 0,07 for S. elegans, 47 ± 1,71 for L. vulgaris, 53,7 ± 0,09 for Kmoschata, 82,8 ± 6,02 for O. vulgaris, 41± 1,36 mm for O. defilippi, 45,1 ± 1,56 for O. aegina.
