There isn?tmuch study in this area. The effects of antimicrobial finishing on the properties offabrics made of different raw materials have been researched.100 % Cotton, PES/VİS, PES/VİS/EA blended woven fabrics have been usedin the experimental part of the study. The antimicrobial finishing applications aremade in the laboratory conditions. The physical and fastness properties of the fabricshave been examined in quality control laboratory. At the and of the study, in three kinds of fabrics, the best and optimumfinishing agent, finishing process and finishing concentration is tried to be identifiedusing statistical methods as ANOVA (variance of analysis) for antimicrobialfinishing.Experimental study shoved that antimicrobial process parameters affectnegatively on colour fastness to water and perspiration. It is also determined thatresistance to pilling and colour fastness to washing are affected at least byantimicrobial finishing..Key Words: Smart Textiles, Antimicrobial/Antibacterial Finishing, FabricPropertiesII
