Abstract (EN)
FLOW AND CIRCULATION M.Sc. Thesis Adil MISIR GAZÎ UNIVERSITY INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY September 1990 ABSTRACT This work is arranged into four chapters. In the first chapter, the definition and the main properties of the line integral has been given, (Proofs of the theorems are omitted). In the second chapter, vector interpretation of the line integral has been studied. In the third chapter, velocity vector field of a fluid is taken into consideration. Subsequently, connections between irrotational and potential flow and stream lines are investigated. In the fourt chapter definitions of flow and circulation are presented. This is followed by some theorems related to these definitions. Finally, the total circulation of a rotating cone, which has a constant angular velecity, formed at a time interval At while it's being sank into a static ideal fluid is calculated. ?IV-
