Abstract (EN)
In this study, acridinedione compounds that are known as a type of laser dyes used as a light source in spectroscopic systems were synthesised. In the first step of the study, tetraketone compounds were synthesised by using cyclohexane-1,3- dione, 5,5-dimethylcyclohexane-1,3-dione and 4-methoxybenzaldehyde following the aldol condensation and Micheal addition reaction. In the second step, obtained tetraketone compounds reacted with sübstitüted aniline compounds that were ended with a new cycle formation to yield acridinedione compounds. The structures of the synthesised compounds were elucidated by FTIR, 1H-NMR, 13C-APT NMR, mass spectroscopy, elemental analyzes and Xray diffraction spectroscopy techniques. In addition, UV-VIS, fluorescence and laser emission of the synthesised acridinedione compounds were measured. It was observed that these compounds had fluorescence and laser intensity. It was determined that some compounds had very strong emission bands and a wide tuning range.
