Abstract (EN)

ABSTRACT In this study, when making etch process of acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) plastic materials to surface activation and electrochemical metal deposition is used environmentally friendly MnO2 + H2SO4 colloid suspension instead of chromic acid and sulfuric acid etching bath by using industry widely, including environmentally hazardous chemical materials, nickel (II) acetate and cobalt (II) chloride solutions used as alternative of surface activator material Pd-Sn solution and reduction process made with NaBH4 or Na2S2O4. However, environmentally friendly polypyrrole solution was reached to industrial surface activation process. This study results show that MnO2 + H2SO4 colloid suspension can be used instead of chromic acid etch bath. In the aftermath of etch process, nickel ions were adsorbed on the surface as a result of the occurrence of -COOH and -OH functional group, and strongly reducer sodium borohydride is reduced with nickel ions. Experimental observations show that the alternative method can be used instead of Pd catalysts.
