Abstract (EN)
Formation of acoustic streaming and its effects on heat transfer in an air-filled rectangular enclosure that exposed to sound field were investigated numerically. Sound field in enclosure was provided by a vibrational left wall of the enclosure. To model the transport phenomena for the problem under investigation the fully compressible form of Navier ? Stokes equations was considered. The formation of the wave field in the enclosure and resulting flow formation were completely calculated. Interactions between wave field and viscous effects and the formation of acoustic streaming were demonstrated with taking the time averages of results that obtained in the given period. With heated top and bottom walls, the effects of acoustic streaming on the heat transfer in the enclosure were investigated. In conclusion, under transient conditions, acoustic streaming motion significantly affects heat transfer in the enclosure.
