Abstract (EN)
Today Geothermal energy is used directly or for the purpose of electricity production. The technical and economical feasibility is the most important step for the evaluation of geothermal projects.In this study, first of all , the formation and utilization fields of geothermal energy are given. The statuses of geothermal energy in the world and particularly in Turkey are mentioned in detail. The methods that will be followed in feasibility studies are indicated in different chapters which emphasize the geothermal district heating systems and the project characteristic of these systems. The technical and economical analysis of Akyazı / Kuzuluk Geothermal District Heating System and the evaluation of the analysis were carried out. The system design load was calculated according to the technical feasibility as 751.716.964,94 kwh It has been seen that 99,98 lt flow rate is the most appropriate value to supply the heat requirement of the system..At last; equipment requirement of the system has been investigated.
