Abstract (EN)

In this study, it is aimed to determine the most suitable process parameters for surface roughness and cutting energy by using Taguchi method in 7075 series aluminum material in dry environment conditions in CNC Milling process which is a common application area in machining. The process parameters are defined as feedrate, cutting speed and depth of cut. The surface roughness of these parameters, the amount of current taken over the network and the effects on the energy consumed are examined. Using the Taguchi method in the analysis of the experiments is the effective and effective experimental method in which a response variable can be optimized, given the various control and noise factors. In addition, less experimental studies were performed to determine the most appropriate process parameters. This provided an advantage both in terms of time and cost. As a result of the experiments, the best surface roughness value was found to be 0.39μm. This value was obtained under experimental conditions where the feedrate was 200mm/min, the cutting speed was 2000 rpm and the cutting depth was 0.5 mm. It has been the parameter feed rate that has the greatest effect on surface roughness. As a result of the experiments, the lowest current amount was found as 0.9A. This value was obtained under test conditions where the feed rate was 150 mm / min, the cutting speed was 1000 rpm and the cutting depth was 0.5 mm. The parameter that has the most effect on the current drawn from the network has been the depth of cut. Considering the current quantity and processing time, the minimum energy consumed was calculated as 7089,28j. This value was obtained under experimental conditions where the feed rate was 250 mm / min, the cutting speed was 1500 rpm and the cutting depth was 0.5 mm.
