Abstract (EN)
Transformer design, no matter how easy it looks, is a complicated process. Therefore, several commercial and non-commercial software programs are distributed for transformer design today. Non-commercial ones are usually made available by magnetic cores manufacturers and are used by entering or selecting some specific parameters.All design programs use the same design principles and equations. The difference between them arises from the opportunities given to the users and constants or data required from the user.Development of a software program to be used in the design of single phase and three phase transformers is aimed in this thesis. An interface easy to use, and an algorithm to yield quick and accurate results are targeted. DELPHI programming language and Microsoft Office Access Database are used in the software. Sample designs have been carried out by using this software and one of the designs has been carried out. Tests have been performed on the transformer wounded accordingly, and results have been compared.
