Abstract (EN)
This study examined the relationship between infidelity, partner phubbing and love attitudes. The study group of the research consists of 359 married individuals aged between 20 and 63. Infidelity Tendency Scale, Partner Phubbing Scale and Love Attitudes Scale: Short Form were used to collect data in the study. Within the scope of the study, the relationships between infidelity, partner phubbing and love attitudes were examined by Pearson product moment correlation coefficient. Whether partner phubbing and love attitudes predicted infidelity was determined by regression analysis. In addition, whether the infidelity differs according to gender was examined with the independent samples t test. According to the results of the research, it was determined that there was a positive significant relationship between the infidelity and partner phubbing. There was a positive significant relationship between the infidelity and ludus. However, it was determined that there were negative significant relationships between the infidelity and eros, agape and storge. Additionally, it was determined that there were negative significant relationships between partner phubbing and eros, agape. There was a positive significant relationship between partner phubbing and mania. İt was determined that ludus, eros, agape and partner phubbing predict the infidelity. On the other hand, it was found that storge, pragma and mania did not predict the infidelity statistically significantly. It was determined that the infidelity showed a significant difference according to gender and accordingly, the mean scores of the infidelity were higher in men than in women.
