Abstract (EN)
In recent years the tourism industry has been developing and people want to visit and explore different places as a part of tourism activities. As a result of this, it has been observed that people are more selective and they prefer things that fit to their image. An important destination for mainly winter tourism Ilgaz Mountain National Park is prefered by tourists in recent years. In this study, it is aimed to verify if there is a significant difference between the effect of perceived image of tourists on the revisit of the destination and the recommendation to others. In this study a questionnaire was applied to visitors coming to Ilgaz Mountain National Park via face to face interview method. Within the scope of the study frequency, t-test, ANOVA and correlation tests are used. As a result it has been suggested that the perceived image of Ilgaz Mountain National Park is highly positive. As a result of the hypothesis developed in the study, it has been claimed that there is a positive relation between the perceived destination image of the visitors and their intention to revisit the destination. Another hypothesis which puts forward a positive relation between the perceived image of visitors of Ilgaz Mountain National Park and their intention to recommend the place has been confirmed and accepted. This study has revealed that the perceived destination image of Ilgaz Mountain National Park affects the visitors' intention to revisit there and recommend it to others positively. It is possible to state that the results will contribute to the future studies.
