Abstract (EN)
The insufficiency of today's technology used in manufacturing processes pushes us towards using materials produced by advanced technology. Investments made in the last few years and developments in systematic manufacturing technologies decreases the amount of usage of ordinary manufacturing methods. Additive manufacturing process has created new life for production of new materials and developed new usage areas on its own. It has eased the manufacturing of a lot of complex shaped products with different 3-dimensional assembling processes, and it's still being researched in a lot of areas. In traditional manufacturing processes, materials are cast and shaped whereas in additive manufacturing, materials are knitted on top of each other with the help of a linkage. In additive manufacturing, a CAD file is created by scanning devices and 3-dimensional technical drawings of materials. Additive manufacturing has the ability to manufacture products faster and doesn't need any moulds to manufacture any complex shaped products in contrary to traditional manufacturing methods. Aluminium is the most common element in the earth's crust after oxygen and silicon and it can be alloyed with other materials. The alloy AlSi10Mg has been chosen due to its ability to satisfy the needs of the mechanical strength, corrosion and wear resistance, lightweight and better thermal abilities in needed areas in cooling plates. Silicon is the main alloying element in aluminium alloys. Experimental method observations have been made on the microstructure of the AlSi10Mg cooling plate. In this study, the Simufact analyses and manufacture via additive manufacturing have been made to inspect the microstructure and also experimental research have been made. In previous studies, manufacturing of cooling plates via additive manufacturing using Simufact analyses hasn't been a topic. In this study, the goal was to manufacture additive manufacturing products of complex geometries easier and less flawed. It was of desire that Simufact analyses would solve the concerns about the diversity of alloying materials in additive manufacturing systems.
