Abstract (EN)

Casting material yield is low due to riser and feeder design of the part produced by AlSi7Mg0.6 casting aluminum alloy with gravity die casting method, because of the lack of a systematic casting, the waste rate is high, which makes this casting method disadvantageous. In order to reduce these, it is aimed to produce with high quality and efficient production by using new low pressure casting system which is prepared from new mold design designed to produce the part by low pressure casting method. With the new casting obtained, the old one was examined with hardness tests and metallographic observation. Two methods were compared also applying T6 heat treatment. After these tests, the decrease in SDAS values in the microstructure and the increase in the hardness of the part produced in the low pressure casting method resulted in an increase in strength.
