Abstract (EN)

In this study it is aimed to show the contribution of basic design courses ondrawing and graphic courses in high schools of fine arts (Anadolu Güzel SanatlarLiseleri)This research was performed during the 2004-2005 and 2005-2006 educatio-nal years with the preparatory class and 1st class students of Ankara High School ofFine Arts. Applications in basic design courses for prep clases, and in drawing andgraphic courses, for 9th classes were examined.The outputs of this research involve the students? works, data obtained fromthe observations and evaluation sheets for creativity.The first stage of this research include the preparatory class studies.Throughout the educational year, students? works and educational enviroment wereobserved. As for the 9th classes students? works, done in drawing and graphic cour-ses, were taken in to consideration. The photographs of same sample students? workswere taken.This students? works were also avelmated by the experts chosen from the GaziUniversity, Department of Education of Fine Arts. The expert evaluated the students?works according to the determined criteria for creativity.In the study it is concluded that basic design courses in prep classes have posi-tive effects on students? creativity in drawing and courses.
