Analyzing the administrative border maps with contemporary techniques a case study of villages in the district of Uluborlu

In this study, the boarders of the existing border map were revealed by applying the administrative borders data obtained from the land registry to the fields, the acceptability of the existing administrative border was researched according to the contemporary measurement techniques, and the existing administrative borders were mapped within a defined scale by remeasuring them in a defined coordinate system, all done with the aim of determining the administrative boarders for the city of Isparta, the district of Uluborlu and four villages within the district of Uluborlu. Therefore, the border maps in the scope of this study were made suitable for the current technology. Necessary analysis were made in order to put the administrative border maps in the scope of this study into the final form and new administrative borders obtained in a defined coordinate system were asserted. In addition, frequently encountered problems during the field application were addressed and solutions for them were presented in this study.
