Abstract (EN)

It is a fact that people dwell in built environments. At least partly they project and build themselves. Interpreting, interpreting and responding to objective environmental circumstances according to cultural perceptions of human, cultural, social and communal demans and requests. Worldwide economic and social evolution is often affected by unusual incidents. Internal and external dynamics that can be separated as physical, social, economic and political created the built and non-constructed environment. In these thesis the forces which become crisis when the situation has a revolutionized impact on built environment and consequently on lifestyles, are handled in a different point of view. Within these thesis, crisis refers to both natural disasters and antropogenic situations and the group of words "crisis landscape" refers to the re-formed topography / environment / the piece of earth that fades to surface and structure and that has marked indefinitely by the embedded crisis. Disasters have changed the view of the World. It is the intersection of non physical facts. It is the gathering of continuous violations of economic, social and environmental brinks. Every location on earth is in danger of disasters, so it is not possible to avoid the risk of damage. Alternatively, it is important to balance the risk of damage through designing and building processes like siting, land use and zoning. Science, engineering and planning have proven to be very successfull in convincing people that they can indeed defend themselves against the forces of nature. This has been accompanied by an understanding of the landscape, in which danger is a calculable risk and points of orientation can be identified that can mark such risks. The titles collected here develop a critical approach to landscape from different disciplinary perspectives (geography, city planning, and aesthetics). Through this variety of conceptual and disciplinary lenses, the landscape appears in all its complexity, as a heuristic device not only for asking questions about the present crisis, but also for searching for answers to the contradictions of the present.
