Abstract (EN)
Ankara had been surrounded by vineyards in which vineyard houses located up to beginning of 20.century. Along with selection of Ankara as capital of Turkey, the social, ecnomic and cultural structure of city has been changed completely and paralel to, city has been shaped fastly. At this period, tradition of migration from city to vineyards had been forgetten and the vineyard areas surrounded the city had been turned to parcels of high storeyed buildings. A few vineyard houses which reached today, are very important witnesses reflecting the life culture of the period. This study is subjecting of detailed documentation of İsmail Uyanık Vineyard House in Keçiören, Ankara, and for sustainable protection of the building, forming restoration proposal to make ready for restoration practice. In the context of issue, current situation of İsmail Uyanık Vineyard House has been documentated by determining , with changes, authentic situation of building has been determined, restitution has been prepared and referance to all these studies, restoration project contains functional and physical intervention decisions has been obtained that overlap with enviroment requirements.
