Abstract (EN)
The aim of this research is to determine the degree of awareness of the solutions of the environmental problems of Ankara by teachers and students and to investigate how this knowledge can be used in education area.The study was carried out in two stage which are questionnaire preparation and application of the questionnaire. Gathering of information is related with the environmental work of Ankara Metropolitan Municipality and the determination of the environmental problems of Ankara. In this research, Survey method was used. First, environmental issues were stated and after gathering adequate information the questionnaire was prepared. Trustworthiness of the questions of it was tested and the ? value was calculated as 0,76. Questionnaire was applied to 30 teachers chosen from the schools associated with M.E.B. (National Education Ministry) in Çayyolu disctrict in Ankara and 118 secondary education students chosen in every school. Results were evaluated in 4 main sections and SPSS computer software was used.Results were inspected for students and teacher seperately, frequency diagrams were constructed and the data gained were gatherd.
