For students studying in music education departments, instrument and voice performance constitute an important dimension of their education. Instrument exams, concerts and lessons are some of the areas where students perform with their instruments or voices. It is known that students experience anxiety before or during their performances. As a result of the research; The scores students received from the overall music performance anxiety scale; It was concluded that the results differed according to gender, high school type, time devoted to daily music education, presence of a music-related member in their family, and performance status in the department. There was no difference according to class grade, age, number of siblings, birth order, duration of music education, economic status, mother's education status, father's education status, membership to a music group other than the department.
