Abstract (EN)

Aphids are obligate phytophagous insects and are one of the most important insect groups that feed on herbaceous and woody plants, cultivated plant species and ornamental plants that grow naturally in the habitats where they are distributed and cause harm. They are represented by 6071 species in 778 genera worldwide. When the aphid fauna of our country is evaluated, 675 species and 27 subspecies have been identified to date. Turkey is an important geography in terms of the distribution and diversity of aphids due to its biogeographical location and rich plant diversity. In this study, approximately 300 samples were taken from 22 fruit tree species in Antalya, Karaman and Muğla provinces and 33 species were identified as a result of the study. Among these identified species, Reticulaphis asymmetrica Hille Ris Lambers & Takahashi, 1959; Rhopalosiphoninus (Neorhopalosiphoninus) staphyleae (Koch, 1854); Schizaphis (Schizaphis) mali Shaposhnikov, 1979 species are the species given as new records for the Turkish Aphid Fauna. In this study, information was given about the general characteristics of aphid species that damage fruit trees in 3 provinces that play an important role in Turkish fruit production.
