Abstract (EN)
Headgears and various ornaments carried on the head are important parts of clothing until the industry surrounding the body. Titles have been used with the passage of history. While these were sometimes suitable for the status, sometimes they were used only to protect the shape and head in accordance with the climate and conditions. Some of these usages can be seen in many archaeological works (statues, perspectives and portraits, ceramics, coins, frescoes and mosaics). Alsa importance from the graves. In our study, headdresses, crowns, wreaths and various ornamental objects used on female and male heads in various cultures (such as Egypt, Mesopotamia, Anatolia, Italy) in the ancient period were tried to be classified and examined in detail; symbolic meanings, intercultural interaction and socio-cultural importance are emphasized.
