Abstract (EN)
Mn based antiperovskites which formulated AXMn3 (X= Carbon, Boron, Nitrogen; and A= Sn, Ge, Zn) are interesting materials for magnetic refrigeration technology because of their magnetic properties like giant magnetoresistance (GMR), magnetocaloric effect (MCE), negative thermal expansion (NTE). Under this approach, we have worked on GaCMn3 systems in thesis and alternative optimum conditions in using magnetic refrigeration technology and the influence of doped elements to magnetic properties has been investigated. This system?s magnetic properties has been investigated with SQUID equipment and x-ray diffaction patterns for structural characterization has been investigated with XRD.Keywords: Antiperovskite, negative thermal expansion, magnetocaloric effect, mangan karbide
