Abstract (EN)
In Arabic literature, religion and feudalism hold significant importance not only as literary aesthetics or historical phenomena but also as focal points of social identity, the quest for justice, and individual freedom. These two themes have established a decisive place in the cultural memory and socio-political structure of Arab societies. Religion is viewed in Arabic literature as both a spiritual refuge and a factor that shapes social order; meanwhile, feudalism is reinterpreted through its literary reflections of social stratification and power dynamics. The focus of this study is to critically analyze the effects of religion and feudalism on the individual and society in Arabic literature. It will examine the role of religion in terms of individual freedoms and spiritual development, and how traditional beliefs and practices influence social change. Similarly, the negative reflections of the feudal structure on social justice, class equality, and individual potential will be detailed through examples from poetry and prose. The way these themes are addressed in Arabic literature does not merely provide a narrative about the past; it also serves as a guide for contemporary social transformation processes. The inquiries framed within the context of religion and feudalism offer new insights into the demands for freedom, equality, and justice faced by modernizing Arab societies. Thus, literature becomes a laboratory for both the critique of tradition and the social ideals of the future. In conclusion, the significance of this study arises from the reactions and proposed solutions of Arabic literature to universal human issues concerning religion and feudalism. By intersecting the dynamics of social change with the paths of individual transformation, Arabic literature presents a rich and inspiring source for current discussions and future visions.
