Abstract (EN)

This study aimed to investigate the impact of Arduino-supported robotic coding activities on the self-efficacy beliefs of gifted students towards science education, as well as various variables. To achieve this goal, nine activities were developed for the process by programming with Arduino boards and sensors via the Arduino IDE, and these activities were implemented with gifted students. The study employed a single-group pretest-posttest quasi-experimental design, which is a quantitative research method. The research process consisted of two stages: the first stage was planning and carrying out robotic activities, and the second stage was collecting data using scales suitable for the research. In the research, "Personal Information Form", "Self-Efficacy Scale" and "Scientific Attitude Scale" were used to determine the self-efficacy beliefs and attitudes of gifted students towards the science course through Arduino-supported robotic coding activities. The research data was applied to gifted students (N = 33) studying at Boğazlıyan Science and Art Center in Boğazlıyan district of Yozgat Province from the 2022-2023 academic year. According to the results obtained from the statistical analysis of the data, it was observed that there was no significant difference between all variables used in the research.
