Central Anatolian-Western Anatolian relationships in late Bronze Age within the light of archaeological data

The Hittite State, the determining force of the Late Bronze Age Anatolia, left significant cultural impacts as it subjugated its surrounding vassal countries with their military and political moves. The traces of these effects have been proven via archaeological data today. Since the early period, the relations of the Hittite State with the Western Anatolian countries have been sometimes hostile and sometimes friendly as it is understood from the written documents. Some groups of artifacts, found in archaeological excavations in Central and Western Anatolia, are cultural evidence of communication between the two regions. Within the scope of this thesis, these data have been evaluated with an attempt to reveal the details and limits of the cultural exchange between the two regions.
