Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, a wireless control and monitoring system for an induction motor has been realized over the Zigbee communication protocol to obtain safe and economic data communication in industrial fields where the wired communication is either more expensive or impossible due to physical conditions. Thanks to the computer interface developed, the motor can be started and stopped, and also protection of the motor against some risky faults are possible such as over current, higher/lower voltage, over temperature in windings, over speed of rotation. In addition, a database is built up to execute online measurement and saving the motor parameters received by radio frequency (RF) data acquisition system. Therefore, control, monitoring and protection of the system have been realized in real time. Since the wireless communication technology has been used in this study, controlling abilities of the system are increased, and also hardware and other similar equipment necessities for data communication are minimized.
