Abstract (EN)

In the briquettes produced according to the wear layer, additives are used to prevent water erosion (exfoliation) in order to prevent or minimize the deformation caused by water damage. It has been subjected to indirect Marshall tensile strength and stability tests in its pure (original) form with 0.1%, 0.3% and 0.5% additives. The purpose of this thesis is to compare the performance indicators of water-damaged samples using certain contribution coefficients. A conditioning system was also applied to the manufactured identical briquettes and they were subjected to the modified Lottman test (AASHTO T 283). The modified Lottman water damage test method chosen to investigate the water damage problem has shown that this test method is the key method in view of the defined values and proportions. By analyzing the data obtained from the experimental studies, it was clearly determined that they support the conclusions that the experimental method is excellent and that the use of the additive affects the characteristics of the coating.
