Abstract (EN)

In this study, the removal of methylene blue and malachite green synthetic dye was investigated by using etermit factory waste as an adsorbent. The adsorption studies were examined effects of pH of the solution, contact time and dye concentration. Batch adsorption experimental data were suitable for the Langmuir isotherm and a good fit to the second order kinetic model (pH=4) for the methylene blue dye. The maximum adsorption capacity was found to be 56,525 mg/g Batch adsorprion experimental data were suitable for the isotherm and good fit to the second order kinetic model (pH=8) for the malachite green dye. The maximum adsorption capacity was found to be 10,058 mg/g. The research were characterized by SEM.
