Atilla Birkiye life art works

In this doctoral thesis, the life, art and works of Atilla Birkiye were studied. The thesis consists of three main parts. In addition, there are introduction, conclusion, interview and bibliography sections. In the introduction part of the thesis, the importance of the subject, its scope, limits, original value, research question, purpose and objective are stated. The first part deals with the author's life. Information is given about Birkiye's works in his life and his writing career. His family, birth, education, working life, cinema works and television programs are discussed. The author's perspective on life is discussed. Attention is paid to what the the author has been dealing with throughout his life. It depicts the author's lifelong approach to writing as a passion. The second part focuses on Birkiye's understanding of art. The basic elements and events that make up his novels are examined. The techniques used by the author in his novels are specified. In the essay, poetry and diary genres, the themes in the works are discussed. In compilations and musicals, the author's information is examined. General information is given about the author's works in the genres in which he works. In addition, in the interview conducted with the author, the author himself gives direct information about his art. The information provided by the artist is important in understanding his works. Thus, the contributions of the author to literature through his works are seen. The place of the author's art in literature is discussed. The third section includes the author's works. In this section, the points emphasized by the author in his novels, diaries, essays and poems are examined. The importance the author attaches to art is mentioned. These works are mostly examined in terms of the subject they deal with. Content is at the forefront. The author's worldview, reflected in his art, is examined. In the conclusion section, information about the author and his works is included. The author's contributions to Turkish literature are clearly expressed. At the end of the study, there are interviews with the author and photographs. The author himself is interviewed and various questions are asked about his art.
