Abstract (EN)
Although double-layered fabrics are preferred by consumers due to their advantages such as durability, functionality and being able to be used with different patterns on both sides, there is not enough research on this subject in the literature. In this study, as double-layered fabric structures; 3 different connection types (Weft joint, Warp joint, Weft joint connection), 3 different texture types (Plain, Twill, Altered face), 3 different weft threads (Ne 28/2 PES/VIS/EL %63/34/3, Ne 30/1 PA/EL %97/3, Ne 40/2 PES/VIS/EL %64/34/2), 4 different warp thread types for plain pattern, 2 different warp threads for twill and changing face patterns, a total of 72 different fabric sample was produced. The properties of the fabrics to be examined; fabric weight, tensile and tear strength, fabric elasticity, permanent elongation. The effect of cxamined variables in the thesis study on the physical and mechanical properties of double-layered woven structures was examined. Keywords: Double layer, Fabric, Physical and Mechanical properties
