Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, the flux and the angular distribution of the atmospheric muon particles have been measured in Gaziantep city at 850 m altitude in Turkey. Measurements are performed by a Muon Telescope detector system containing two scintillators, two photo-sensor modules and a DRS4 chip. The muon flux is found to be Flux = 185 ±18 m^(-2 ).s^(-1) and the angular distribution is shown to be consistent with the theoretical predictions.
