Almanca Hazırlık okuyan Türk öğrencilerin telaffuz sorunlarına yönelik medya dayalı bir tellafuz çalışması

In the present research a media-based pronunciation training, which was implemented in the German preparatory classes of the Uludağ University, is being discussed. Turkish students who are entitled to study in the German Language Teaching and Archeology departments participated in the study. After a theoretical grounding, the conception of the pronunciation training and how it was implemented in the seminar will be introduced. The pronunciation training is supported by media tools and offered different working opportunities to the students. The aim of this study is to examine, how the detected phonetic pronunciation problems of the students can be eliminated through a targeted and media-based pronunciation training, how it was perceived by the students and how it affects their level of motivation. Orientated on the Qualitative Evaluation by Kuckartz et al. (2008) the analysis was carried out. Therefore, a standardized questionnaire and two group-interviews were applied. Considering the evaluated results, possible perspectives for the specific field of research and teaching practice and how future pronunciation trainings can be shaped, will be presented.
