Abstract (EN)

Ksenogreft is known as a biosynthetic greft produced by 20-year experienced BioNova Group in Australia. It is used as A/V fistule and also used in peripheral vascular surgery. Ksenogreft has been in pratice for a long time in our country therefore like many international literatures, Turkish literatures have mentioned Ksenogreft considerably. When the usage potential of Ksenogreft in Turkey is examined, it is very well known that prevelance of peripheral vascular diseases and chronic renal failure is very high. The aim of this thesis is to make a cost efficiency analysis for Ksenogreft products. By comparing Ksenogreft and other rival products in terms of cost and efficiency, it has been tried to prove the superiority of different but interchangeable interventions with regards to one another. In this sense, Ksenogreft (Biosynthetic vascular) and rival products (ePTFE) have been set in national information bank; Ksenogreft has been evaluated in terms of cost and efficiency upon a comparison among product groups. In spite of the fact that Ksenogreft has a superior technology as a biosynthetic vascular product, it is almost at same price with PTFE and it gives valuable benefits to patients and medical institutions. As similar examples can been seen in literatures, efficiency value for Ksenogreft has been determined as ? aspect ratio - patency?. As a result of the analysis and according to patency ratio, Ksenogreft has been defined as ?cost efficient? (-2624,63 TL ) for Hemodialysis AV accession.
