Abstract (EN)
In the first chapter of this study consisting of three sections, the concepts of "child" and "child and juvenile laborer" in terms of national and international law will be addressed, for better understood of our study, the differences beetween similar and mentioned concepts will examined. Then, the reasons of child labour will be discussed, finally first chapter will be ended by explaining the ways of struggle with child labour and reasons for protection of children. In the second section, the international legislative regulations regarding child and juvenile laborers will be mentioned in terms of labor law. In international legislative regulations regarding child and juvenile laborers, the provisions of the League of Nations, the United Nations, the International Labor Organisation and the European Union will be discoursed and it will be led into the third section. In the third section, the Constitution of Turkey, laws and regulations will be emphasized with regard to child and juvenile laborers in the national legislation. In this study, the direct-indirect effect of European Union law on the national law will be evaluated and the compatible and incompatible aspects of national law and European Union law will be discussed. Consequently, the current and objective legal stage in the field of labor law will be assessed in terms of protection of child and juvenile laborers.
