Aydî Baba's opinions about kelam -in the context of Imam Matürîdî-

This thesis is shaped around the divan and divan thoughts of Aydî Baba, one of the 19th century sufi. In the first part, the environment in which Aydi Baba lives, the content of his divan and the factors affecting the world of thought are determined. In the second chapter, starting from the divan of Aydî Baba, theological ideas are discussed in the context of Imam Matûrîdî. In the conclusion part, an evaluation of the content of the thesis is made and it is emphasized that the transitions between the lodge and madrasah in the Ottomans are not realized by preferring one to the other as seen in Aydî Baba.
