Thesis)Mert ÜNALGAZI UNIVERSITYINSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGYOctober 2006ABSTRACTWater production, distribution and consumption in the municipalitiesconstitutes a most important place in the Turkey?s energy sector.In this study, wen municipalities have been reclassified after the discriminantanalysis was applied to the water statistics of the year 2001 taken fromTURKSTAT (TURKISH STATISTICAL INSTITUTE).
