Abstract (EN)
"Azîz Mahmûd Urmevî" is one of the sensational characters of the 17th century. He moved from "Urmiye" to "Diyarbakır" and here he established the "Urmeviyye" which is the branch of "Nakşbendiyye". With this establishment he obtained significant fame and esteem. Moreover, this salient power ended up with execution of "IV. Murâd Hân". The writing of "Tezkire-i Hazret-i Baba" which is a collective production of "Urmevî" sheiks and dervishes shows significancy with its over eight thousand couplet, characteristics of local language and with holding the cultural and geological details. After a summary about "Azîz Mahmûd Urmevî" and "Urmevîyye" in the introduction part of work will be presented, information of previous works about "Urmevîyye" will be given. After that a critical aproach about belongingness and the identity of sheik will be studied. Common literary study was performed and translation of the writing will be given in this aproach. In the conclusion and suggestion part the necessary future work and the subjects that needs to be clarify in upcoming studies will be pointed out.
