Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, alternative copolymers (PT-co-K and PT-co-A) containing Azobenzene, Coumarin and Thiophene were synthesized by chemical methods using Stille Coupling reactions.Structural characterizations of intermediates and copolymers were performed with FTIR and 1H-NMR analysis. The properties of copolymers have been determined by cyclic voltammetry studies.Spectroelectrochemical, kinetic and optical studies have been carried out to determine the electrochromic properties of the synthesized copolymers. As a result of these studies, it is proved that the copolymers have amultichromic behavior. In all studies, it was observed that the copolymer containing Azobenzene has better results due to the high electron density and the length of the functional groups. In addition, in order to examine solar cell applications of these conductive polymers, solar cells are designed in ITO / PEDOT: PSS / Polymer (PT-co-K / PT-co-A): PC60BM / LiF / Al structure where polymers are used as an electron donor group.Systematic studies were conducted to investigate the effect ofconcentration and annealing on performance of polymers.Optimization studies still continue in our laboratory to increase the efficiencies obtained. The results given here are the data obtained from the preliminary studies.
