Abstract (EN)
In thesis work, new azomethine containing polymeric microspheres (AMP-Phatal, AMP-Phatal-Pt, AMP-Phatal-Ni, AMP-Phatal-Mn, AMP-Phatal-Cu and AMP-Phatal-Co) were obtained with the reaction of tris(2-aminoethyl)amine polymer-bound, o-phthalaldehyde and metal salts. The structures of the polymers were determined by spectroscopic techniques (elemental analysis, FT-IR, SEM-EDX, TG-DTA, UV-GB, GPC and magnetic sensitivity measurement). The antimicrobial efficacy of the polymers were evaluated using the Well diffusion method against some pathogenic bacteria and yeast.
