CRITIC was one of the objective weighting methods, was used to determine which criteria had a huge impact on the global competitiveness. The global competitiveness of the 7 member states of the CIS was analyzed through EXCEL 2013 by taking 40 criteria into consideration. According to the country rankings, Azerbaijan took the first place in 2010 and 2011, while Kazakhstan ranked first in 2012 and 2013.
